Dental Crowns

A crown (cap) is a restoration that is placed on teeth that have lost a lot of their structure. There are various types of crowns, ranging from full porcelain to full metal.

At Cown Point Dental we offer same day Crowns for most cases; meaning NO IMPRESSIONS, NO TEMPORARIES & NO WAITING!

Before treatment begins we inform you if you are a candidte for CEREC (same day crown).

After preparing  the tooth for crown we create a 3D image of the tooth and design the crown on a special computer and then the crown will be milled out of a ceramic block in a milling unit. The crown iwill be ready to be seated in 30 minutes.

We try to pamper you with our complimentary spa services at your visit.

Our services include:

_Therapeutic Massage Chair

_Warm Steamed Towel

_Satin Smooth Parrafin Treatment

_Anti Aging Gel Eye Mask

_Glasstron Video Glasses

crownThe process of making a lab made crown includes a number of steps, beginning with preparing and taking impressions of the tooth/teeth involved. A temporary crown or bridge is then placed on your teeth. Meanwhile, the impressions are sent to the lab where a mold of the teeth is poured and the work begins. The completed work is sent back to the office; after inspection and any necessary adjustments, it is cemented onto your teeth.
